Explore
the mystical home of the ancient Incas. Discover Cuzco, the colonial
city built high in the Andes at a former Inca site. Then journey to magical
Machu Picchu, and other ancient sites in the stunning Sacred Valley
such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo, where we'll photograph
the ruins and colorful people in village markets. Finally we'll venture
to Lake Titicaca to photograph village life on the remote islands of the

AMAZING MYANMAR, Sep 8 - 21, 2008 . Rudyard Kipling once described Burma (Myanmar) as: “quite unlike any land you know about.” Join us as we discover this Golden land, perhaps the least discovered country in Southeast Asia. Our itinerary includes Yangon's Schwedegon Pagoda, the ancient city of Bagan where the landscape is dotted with more than one thousand temples, Inle Lake, where we will photograph local fishermen, bustling local markets and lakeside life seemingly unchanged for centuries. Drive from San Diego - Explore downtown Ensenada, the fish market
and wharf, and the Riviera Cultural Center on day one. On the
second day, after a boat trip in Ensenada Harbor, we'll have a photo workshop before visiting the blowhole. On Day 3 we'll drive through
the local wine country before arriving in the town of Tecate. Tecate's
main plaza is full of local residents sampling food offered by vendors
and listening to mariachi music. Limited to 9 participants.

DAY OF THE DEAD IN OAXACA, Oct 28 - Nov 5, 2008 Cost:.$2775 (extra day added!) Experience this amazing festival in beautiful Oaxaca in southern Mexico. Many of the local people believe that on these special nights the spirits of the deceased come to visit. We'll photograph their parties for the dead in cemeteries, as well as the elaborate altars they prepare, parades, local villages, colorful markets, the ancient Zapotec ruins at Monte Alban, beautiful colonial churches, and the people and their daily life in Oaxaca. GUATEMALA, THE LIVING MAYA, Jan 30 - Feb 8, 2009 . . Cost: $2975 Discover the Central American country of Guatemala. Experience an explosion of color from the splendid Mayan pyramids at Tikal to the colonial gem and ancient capital of Antigua, to the colorful highlands. We'll discover the traditions, and photograph many of the descendants of the ancient Maya. We'll explore famous Lake Atitlan, and visit several village markets such as the one at Chichicastenango, and some seldom visited markets in villages outside of Quetzaltenango. February 4 - 19, 2009., In Bangkok, Thailand's bustling capital, we'll visit the Grand Palace, the canals and famous floating markets. In Luang Prabang, Laos, situated on the Mekong River, we'll witness hundreds of Buddhist monks taking their morning walk. Then on to Cambodia, where we'll visit Phnom Penh's Royal Palace and have a meal at the world famous Foreign Correspondent's Club. BAJA GRAY WHALES, 7 Days, March 3 - 9, 2009 Cost:.$2375 Every winter the gray whales migrate to Baja California from Alaska. Come photograph these magnificent creatures up close in the Ojo De Liebre lagoon (also known as Scammon's Lagoon) near the town of Guerrero Negro.
